It's too early!

I heard the first thunderclap at 4:32 a.m. and that was the end of sleeping for me.  I am hoping the lightning strikes do not start any fires.

The storm is still rolling through as I am writing this.  On the weather radar it looks like it is moving north up the Purcell Trench towards Bonners Ferry.   No. No. No. We do not want to lose our beautiful blue skies to smoke.

You may not have noticed but one of the blogs that I follow is Slight Detour.  My friend, Marianne lives near Sandpoint and unlike me, she posts on her blog every day.  I hope you have time to read her post from yesterday.

There are stunning photos and great stories AND she loves horses.  I know my friends and family in Montana and Nebraska will enjoy her posts.   I loved this one:

 Happy Friday.
