Snow anyone? Anyone?

These photos were taken from December and January 2013 and/or December and January 2014.  We had a lot of snow in 2014 so I had put on my snowshoes and Mollie dog and I made a loop around our property.

Mollie says, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

It was good snow for sledding on New Year's Eve that year.

January of 2014 was my mom's 90th birthday.  She's counting the candles to be sure there's 90.

I'm still using these, every year.

I hope you don't get a lump of coal this year.   Have you been extra naughty?   Oh-oh.

Seven Swans a swimming.

Yesterday I mixed up several cookie doughs for Christmas cookies and put them in the freezer to bake later.  Today I bake a couple dozen for us to sample while Jon went on a walk to look for our tree.  He returned with the news that he has spotted a couple of options on the other side of the garden fence.  We will cut it down on Wed. or Thursday since we had other projects to do today.

We are trying to get Lady more comfortable riding in the car.  She won't get in the car because she thinks she's going either to the vet or the groomer and she doesn't like either one.  The vet has suggested that we take on short trips to other places that are more fun.

I don't know if riding along with us to the dumpsters qualifies as fun, but that's what we did today.  Then we had a stop at the post office and came home.  Hopefully, she will learn that she's not always going to have a bath and/or shots at the vet every time she goes in the car.  Stay tuned.

I am posting more photos from Christmas past.  As you will see, not in any kind of chronological order.

Some early photos of band rehearsal in the basement.  This was shortly after the group invested in a sound system.   We're still using it 14 years later.  It was a worthwhile investment. We sure have had a lot of fun playing music over the years.

Another wreath.

So much snow!

A moose at Glen Ford's place.

Jon on a walk to the newspaper box with Mollie and Maggie.  2008?

The hunt for a Christmas tree.  There wasn't much snow that year either.

Christmas 2000?
