Ta Da! The first petunia to wave at you this year!
And here it is! The first tomato of the 2014 gardening season!
My baskets of hanging red begonias had to be moved upstairs as they are now too tall for my lights in the basement. They have blossoms!

And Forty Years Later......
Yes, he was going to be president, or a doctor, or a lawyer or heaven forbid, an actor? He doesn't look like an actor, does he?

| Grandma Eileen, Aunt Shirley and David - 1974 |
The photo above was taken at a baby shower for David at my Grandmother's house in Victor, Montana.
Who would have guessed then that forty years later his Grandma Eileen and Great Aunt Shirley would be attending his debut as an actor the play Harvey.
Break a leg, David!

It's becoming routine now.
I go for my walk almost every day and the two black and white dogs go with me. They spend a lot of time chasing each other around the woods and hoping that they might be fast enough to catch a squirrel.
I was really hoping that these mushrooms, the first I've seen this spring, would be the edible kind, but unfortunately, they are not.
This time of the year the view from the John and Gail's is almost always cloudy with a chance of meatballs..... or rain, or hail or grapple.
It's just about time to clean off the bench so that I can sit down and take in the view.
I like the red colors in this photo.
