Check out my wine making projects. I began making wine in 2008. Our grape vines are table grapes so it has been a challenge to make a good tasting wine. The first year I made Concord Blush wines. The next year I did a lot of experimenting with blends: Concord-Cabernet Sauvignon and a Concord Moscato. 2010 and 2011 summers were so cold and rainy that there were only a few grapes. I have had to resort to making blends with grape, pear, apple, elderberries, blackberries and dark cherries. 2012 is here and I am hoping for a nice hot summer.
