Yesterday afternoon we learned that one of our neighbors has passed away from the virus. We did not see each other often, but if she was in her yard when we walked passed on our way to get our newspaper, we would visit for a few minutes. She was a sweet and kind, gentle woman.
We were very sad to hear this news. This virus has caused too much pain, sorrow and grief.
Please wear a mask to protect yourself and others.
Please get vaccinated. The vaccine works.
