It's February and it's pretty quiet around here. That's okay with us. We got our 2nd shot and prepared for the cold weather. Fortunately, it didn't last too long here, but zero is cold enough for us.
Now we're in the February blues days. Foggy, snowy, rainy, back to foggy, etc. The big excitement for today was discovering water on the floor in the basement. That's never a good sign. We started searching for the source. Nothing appeared to be leaking, but I had just run a load of clothes in the washer.
A drain problem?
We decided to check the cleanout on the sewer line and sure enough, there was standing water. We were hoping it was only plugged up. Retired Mountain Man decided that we could use our chimney cleaner tool for a snake to unplug the drain.
Whew!
I'm posting a few videos of our February life. We have a spare game camera in our yard as we have been trying to catch the elk on our camera. They have been in the yard a couple of times, but we didn't have the camera set up. (You can get a better look if you choose to view the video full screen)
