Brrr. June is here!

June in Hope America means one thing, rain, cold, wind, rain and more rain.  I think we have had almost 5 inches of rain the the past three days and our high temperature yesterday was 41 degrees.  That would mean that it was cold enough for some fresh snow on the mountains.

It doesn't matter if the iris are about to bloom or that you have planted your tomatoes in the garden.  When June finally arrives, you can count on a cold front out of the Gulf of Alaska and low temperatures of near 32 degrees.  Retired Mountain Man is extremely upset that he still has to build a fire and burn more of his firewood to keep the house warm.

Brrr!  #@!%, it's cold!

Never put your winter coat or thermal underwear away for the "warm weather" until after the 4th of July.
